*I could not have made it through the marathon without these few classics. I had a running partner at mile 13 and I got frustrated 'cause I couldn't listen to music since he made the effort to run with me. Music is important - it helps you keep pace, motivates, removes your psyche from the physical. Find what motivates you - there are some songs that will be forever. I recommend the following as a must-have.

The Boys of Summer: The Ataris
Love the Way you Lie: Eminem Feat. Rihanna
Love Like Winter: AFI
Have Faith In Me: A Day to Remember
Secrets: One Republic
Vicious Circle: Millencolin
Empire State of Mind: Jay-Z
Mr. Brightside: The Killers
Valentine: The Get Up Kids
Demons: Guster
